What is a Classy Gecko?
Classy Geckos contain 150gsm white cartridge paper. This paper is a good all rounder and will hold anything from pencil sketching and oil pastel work, even a light watercolour wash.
What is a Splashy Gecko?
Our Splashy range is the ultimate watercolour sketchbook! These books contain our high quality 300gsm watercolour paper and will hold wet media, like gouache and acrylic perfectly.
What is a Flashy Gecko?
The Flashy Gecko name is reference to its cover! Unlike the rest of our ranges, Flashy's have a super bright, colourful, wipe clean durable cover - in colours raspberry red, yellow, lilac and mint teal. The Flashy Gecko contains our high quality 150gsm all media cartridge paper.
What is a Krafty Gecko?
Krafty Gecko sounds just like it's name sake. Kraftys involve kraft paper! The majority of the range contains our high quality 150gsm cartridge paper with a durable kraft hardback cover. There is one exception to this however as we have one book in the range, that contains 170gsm kraft paper inside as well as the kraft cover.
What is a Swanky Gecko?
Swanky Geckos are our go to travel sketch journals. The journals have a vegan leather black soft touch cover. They contain our high quality 150gsm cartridge paper and are great for on the go sketching!
What is a Eco Gecko?
Eco Geckos contain high quality 150gsm 100% recycled cartridge paper. The paper is a strong white colour with little flecks of recycled texture on the sheets.
What is a Freestyle Gecko?
Freestyle Geckos are our perfect for paint marker sketchbooks! Designed specifically for paint markers like POSCA, Freestyles use our exclusive 250gsm hybrid paper combining the qualities of bleed-proof marker paper and smooth Bristol board. Strong, bright, and versatile, it’s built for serious layering without bleed-through.
What is a Shady Gecko?
Shady Gecko Sketchbooks are a range of books that contain 200gsm toned card. Features tones Jet Black, Desert Sand, Ash Grey and Strom Grey, there are plenty of options available if you are looking for tones to work on. These cards are ideal for pencil sketching, inks, charcoals and other dry media, as well as sturdy enough to hold gouache and other wet media types. You can also use these as collage and display books.
What is a Stashy Gecko?
Stashy Geckos are created as display books. We have two kinds, the 200gsm Jet Black card version and the 170gsm Kraft version. These books are square, skip bound and have a beautiful ribbon tie - perfect for stashing memories!
What is a PRO Gecko?
The PRO Gecko range is a collective of sketch pads. They feature a variety of different paper types and have a soft touch laminate cover. The pads are designed for the people who like to display their work as individual sheets as the sheets can be easily removed from the pads and have no hole punches.

The Shady Range is the one for you! You will find a variety of card colour types to choose from. If you have a look at the PRO Toned Sketch Pads, you will see our toned card sketch pad options too.
Which book is perfect for paint markers?
The Freestyle Gecko is the Sketchbook for you! However if you are looking for a sketch pad version, have a look at both the PRO Marker Pad and the PRO Bristol Board Pad.
